yeah, but the turbo will only kick in after a certain amount of rpms, where the super charger is always working because its directly onto the engines main belt.

A turbo "pulls" more air into the engine, a supercharger "pushes" more air into the engine...turbos work off the exhaust, and superchargers work off the engine via a belt. They both utilize forced induction for higher compression and a highly oxygen rich mixture for faster/more powerful combustion aka increased horsepower. |
