Glad you got it sorted with out hitting her. A horse i ride does that though he is easy to control, i just kick him on and he is fine!

Work that horse at the fence and then take him out and rest that is reveres sycology. it seems like that horse wants to be near the other horses thats why its raring..it might help ^_^

DO NOT whip her that will just make her mad and make her try harder.. my gelding used to do that and still does... if kicking her won't help make sure you aren't pullen on her mouth too much...and turn her in tight circuls (don't know if i spelled that right). and maybe light taps on her shoulder if she still won't go hit hard on the shoulder and if that doesn't work try light taps on her butt... good luck.....

my mare does that.not that bad though.she has seperation anxiety =Pit's still not resolved, she does it occasionaly and when i ride past the stable she tries to go inside then won't budge unless i get off her or in the worst case when i can't get off keep kicking her or if i have my whip, whip her.what can i do?

nice job staying on.. i have a problem with my new mare. she can't stand to be alone just the other day i took her out in my ring after walking her around on foot in the middle section of my barn. in less than 5 minutes me not even getting on her she ripped the reins out of my hands and cantered around my ring and JUMPED the fence! then the funny part was she tried to hide behind horses that are smaller than her she's 17.2 but i have ridden her a few times.. suggestions and advice would be nice
