"Super Mario 128" demo

The first ever demo of the Gamecube. Miyamoto starts with a single Mario of 200-250 polygons (the same amount as in Mario64) and quickly brings 128 Marios on the screen. The bar at the bottom indicates how much processing power is being used. They go through different special effects modes showcasing what the system will be capable of. Enjoy!

The 3-D Marios, in my opinion, don't look like the model used in Super Mario 64 if you look closer. The textures are different, and there's more lighting effects to the models. They could easily be mistaken for the actual SM64 models from behind (as one screenshot shows), and personally, I think they used a completely new model for Mario durring this demo, as to make it SEEM like it's the SM64 model.

It was never meant to be a game. It was only used to test the power of the gamecube.

The GameCube was pretty powerful for it's time. I think only the Xbox was more powerful.

The spheric surface is simular to the Super Mario Galaxy levels, you know.
For those considering buying a new vehicle, don't forget to check out the new 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser. Great for adventures off road, just for cruising around town, or running to the store.

The new 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser seats five and comes in two-tone with a Voodoo Blue, Titanium Metallic, Black Diamond, Sun Fusion, Sandstorm or Brick body color and White top. The interior fabric color is Dark Charcoal, while the dash, center instrument panel trim and the door inserts match the body.
