Those three guys do all the japenese street racing stuff so very unlikely carjacking was ever on their mind.Also, you'll see the car has a single tailpipe, and when he takes off there's 2 lines of white smoke, albeit more prominent on the left. It's more likely to be tyre smoke from the stupid power that 3 rotor wankel engine is kicking out.

This is definitely a rotary diesel because look at all the smoke when he takes off. I bet he is running used fryer grease to save money and to save the environment.
