The DSG is awesome. So quick, smooth and reliable. I have it in my 2007 GTi and my 2008 R32. I will never buy manual again.

If you have a 6MT GTI, just buy a WOTBox. This gives you the DSG's advantage of shifting while going WOT while having the 6MT's advantage of putting more power down (less drivetrain loss, more power to the wheels, higher trap speeds). This is especially apparent if the car is modded for more power.

derbigpr500 (September 6, 2008 at 11:00 pm)
Its pretty reliable...but it can break , same as anything else. And if it does, its VERY expensive to fix

I have the same question, cos i heard that it does, it isn't reliabil. please say if that isn't true, cos i want to buy jetta with dsg and i have doubts. sorry for my english ;) thanks |
