Nope, but we also don't want them fighting each other for 17 years and holding the country hostage. The alternative is for the UN to grow some balls and go in there without supporting the warlords. It's quite simple, the ones with guns over there are calling all the shots and they are few. I don't know why the UN and America left after confronting these few assholes.

Spain had its fair share of civil war (s). The problem with Somalia is that not one single group over powered the rest. There are various foreign countries that are supporting different Somali factions (for their own self-interests) and each Somali faction feel that they don't need to compromise.
