maybe the reason Achilles was able to kill Hector was also cause he was so mad at him for killing his cousin when u see the movie he almost killed his general when he told him Patroclus was dead

maybe she could only dip him in once or something but she did pick a pretty good spot to hold him by

Well invincibility could mean different things though, i mean he wouldn't need a shield if he was right? he could just put a plate of metal on his heel and that would be it. I understand his invincibility as in being undefeatable in battle instead of being unable to die. The kid was way too gifted to be able to die by the hands of a human being in combat, thus he is invincible. It's wat i think anyway but i find this interesting.

Agamemnon deserves to die, he used Helen as an excuse to invade Troy but deep inside he wants to expand his empire...

There was only one outcome to this fight, I think the scene just before this one illustrates that painfully well as Hector bids farewell of everybody

yes but after she dipped him in the water a first time, she could have dipped him another time holding him by his arm so that his heel would be immunised too

Achilles would've won whatever happened , it's not a matter of some rock trip , Achilles 's invincible if it came to be an one on one fight or 2 or even 3 , if u 've watched him carefully in every fight scene u would 've figured that out ... and that's a fact BTW |
