then how come the majority of people have a heart rate 5-6 times per minute lower while riding in one? it gets digital television and thats only the start, actual tests that include both cars prove it is much more relaxing to drive the powerful merc.

venomviper32: now everyone thinks these cars are longer lasting and more luxurios, total bs. german technology isnt quite a bargain, but its still quite a bit better. Well, according to the majority of people, the Lexus LS is one of the most luxurious, superb, well riding, "executive" car they've driven. Even more so than a Mercedes S550.

venomviper32: "have you driven a porsche? much more fun to drive than this ricey plasticy junk you call quality." Well, that car you call "plasticy junk" just beat your quality sportscar with a fraction of the price.

What kind of comparison is this! Bad traction due to low temperature and they compare a 4WD turbo charged car against two RWD with no turbo. Of course the 4WD car with the same power would win. And of course you cannot compare the torque curve of a turbo charged engine to no turbo. I would say the whole comparison is crap! Do the think we are idiots! It seems so!

Why doesn't it sound like he's winding the GT3 all the way up?
horkhunter (July 25, 2008 at 8:03 pm)

the gtr....what a machine.a real bench mark!!!
zero442 (July 23, 2008 at 5:25 pm)
I guess you are right about the turbos. but i am sure you could take alot of weight out of the car as the road legal z-tune of this car loses quite a bit. so a track version could lose more and maybe have the power bumped a bit. either way i am among the hordes of youtubers that can only afford to finance and E36 m3 at the moment and can only dream of one of these cars while i waste time at work.

no it will not, they did it in the past and they will do it again.
djohnstone87 (July 23, 2008 at 1:43 am)
lol i didnt read your comment right, i thought you were saying the GT3 could be better if they put bigger turbs on it, to which i said what i said... sorry. youre right, although i think theyve maximised responsiveness and got the boost turned up past the stanrd 6-8 psi anyway... so i really highly doubt youd see an overall better car by putting on bigger turbs... maybe on the strip yes, but around a track it would lack responsiveness and waiting to spool up. |
