David Simon (creator of the wire) is trying to show that CHILDREN, yes CHILDREn like Wallace had no choice but to get into a world that they dont belong in, and it ends in Tragedy and waste. What the fuck are you talking about "real" and "snitching" This is life and death. The drug game is bad and it is partly society's fault for ignoring its people who have no other choice. Wallace's death was a stupid waste, so was bodie's and so is every other child that gets dragged in to this bullshit.

You're completely missing the point of the Wire, it is supposed to show the waste and tragedy of the "drug game" emphasised by the fact that Wallace was a good smart person and he lost his life for nothing. Wallace shouldn't have gotten into that world but at the time he was 12 and had to support himself and in the projects drug dealing is normalized. Most people probably would have ended up in that life if they were him. Its not ok to kill a boy based on a decision he made at 12. All that don't snitch crap just leads to more murders and ruined lives. The more drug lords and gangsters locked up the safer our families are. Its not babyish to say that murdering teenagers is wrong.

Dude lets be real and stop acting like a baby. The dude was in a criminal organization. Yes he helped the kids and its sad that it went down like that. But when you get wrapped up with people like the ones he was with, then you take risk. Wallace knew that. Now as soon as he went and snitched he should have taken his ass out of town and never came back. He chose to come back therefor he took a risk and it backfired on him.
