It's no big deal, many songs start out one way, but in heavy gigging periods, as Mahavishnu did (after Lifetime) things get changed. Resolution is simply a bridge (watch the Munich 72 version) while One Word was rechristened in 73 as a concert piece de resistance.

Here is what is funny. The original version was actually called One Word and it had vocals and the song was done by Tony Williams Lifetime w/John McLaughlin on the album Turn It Over. This is called Resolution which is the song title Mahavishnu Orchestra used, but that version has no vocals. So basically, these guys are doing the version that should be called One Word.This is the easiest of all Mahavisnu songs.I look as these guys as a cover band of the original.

I saw this band twice. A different violinist I think. This is only a slight and minimal taste of what M Project was capable of. Buy their live cds. Absoulutely one of the best fusion bands out there!Hope to see more of their amazing videos. They need exposure !
