This is a great rainy day song, but my most favorite time to play this song is during sunset, especially on a crisp clear fall eve when the setting sun radiates those beautiful hues of red, orange, and yellow all flowing into a sea of blue...it's pure sweetness!

No worries, your absolutely right no one is "blaming" hip-hop for anything... Ole skool music just has a "way different message" for instance "The Last Poets," "Gil-Scott Heron" and even "NWA" made politically conscious music to "wake people up" and open their eyes --search it out for yourself...

thanks for your reply -- I agree many of those old skool songs were about relationships, breaking up even though everybody really wanted to stay together --but hip-hop removed all of that --in needing an avenue to vent they forgot about "the solution" and "true romance"...

i feel you on that, the right music will help bring that back!60s 70s 80s ( good songs have come before and after those decades but the 60-80s music as a whole is on a differnt, a higher level, you know gives youe goosebumps).

This is truly Ole Skool excellent riding music or just good to listen with your honey. Most people who hooked up during this time period were serious about it -- no wavering, no B.S. just good old-fashioned romance and dancing. |
