hahaha amazing. My Teachers were open minded and patient to my sometimes stupid but fasnacting questions (no one else really asked) it was the STUDENTS that tried to shut me up and tell me I was wrong.so, whatever their doing, its working- half people my age don't give a shit about their education, otherwise they would not shoot down such questions

i think he's using art and dance as an example to apply his idea on all fields of education and creativity.

Don't ask the kids what they want to do... give them aptitudes tests to find out what they're good at.

Just because you're in a philosophy class doesn't mean you can't be wrong!Maybe your teacher was just a douche

I agree, but I think Philosophy in a classroom setting can demean its purpose. I recall being told that I was "wrong" in my philosophy classes. Then again, a classroom setting demeans the ability to learn for a variety of subjects. I think teachers need to give students the ability to speak freely, especially when it comes to Philosophy.

Why art and dance? Why not philosophy?I think it stimulates creativity, and people could seriously use some ethical re-evaluation... and perhaps some logic
