Kansas Jayhawkers burned my hometown during the civil war. The original capital of Platte County (to my knowledge) was burned to the ground. Just another reason to root for the Tigers for me! Go Tigers!

All Missourians should burn in hell? for a war that happened 150 years ago. seriously? and Missourians are not and never were confederates. they never suceeded from the union. And many of the Missouri paramilitary attacks were simply retaliation for Kansans burning their farms. Just cause they won doesnt mean that Kansans didnt commit just as many attrosities.

kansans actually voted for slavery by a majority vote of the population, so if it wasnt for political manuevering from above ku would have been a slave state. also a much greater number of missourians fought for the union and missouri was actually a union state. oh yea and that was 150 years ago. missouri has updated itself a little bit since then by accepting things like evolution, actually having minorities in the state, and not having freaks like fred phelps be our most famous citizen
