If you watch closely, this performance is likely an American Bandstand or Solid Gold kind of show where it's PRE-RECORDED! She keeps changing her distance from the Mic but her volume never waivers. As for her album, it was likely her vocals recorded over music played by "studio musicians". Like many Solo Artists, they don't usually use the same "Band".

The band sounds quite a bit like Pure Prairie League...it probably isn't them though.

Does anyone know the name of the saxophone soloist in the beginning of this "Lotta Love" Video by Nicolette Larson ? What is the name of the band that played the music ? Who played the flute ? I love the sax toward the end and the way he bounces and twists playing the sax !!
