i never thought i'd see a ls1 evo... wow. i really don't know what to think about this. i mean i love it for the engine and amazing work done to it, but i also think evo's should stay awd. i know the ls1 is a way more reliable engine and has much more potential, but i'm more of a fan of rally racing evos, not dragging them. either way this thing is insane and i give props to whoever built it.

For NissanTy, I agree with what you are staying since a month ago I saw this sick 93 RX7 with an LS1 motor that was tastefully done (sleeper look). Sounded just a bit better than the EVO in the video and the owner staded it ran low 10's and high 9's on a cool day...F8cking impressive to say the least however, the set-up (motor work)was insane! In the end, the owner stated he strongly believed that the same set up in an F-body would only yield him mid 11's...

I eat, sleep and drink a 8 sec street car and I'm far from some stupid kid so calm down douchebag. What I am saying is nobody drives a 700hp car for mpg, I'm sure you're gonna drive it for what it is, meaning your foot will be hammering the pedal any chance you get... and when you do that, your 27mpg is not gonna happen. Yes, technology is great, I have 2 turbos on my V8 but I don't give 2 shits about mpg...Just drive whatever you like and get off your high horse fool.

floritejoe, you ARE the idiot, what did i tell you stupid kids about talking about a motor or car you know nothing about, let me explain this since you are so stupid, as long as im not in boost i can knock out 27+ or 30+ mpg with 300-900+ hp i.e. look at buscher racing evos, they DD their evos and both run 9's-> both get 25+ mpg, a power adder(turbo! omg no way)...technology is a bitch aint it, dont talk to me about a motor i eat, breathe, and sleep you arrogant little prick

You're an idiot, a 4G63T will not get 27mpg if its tuned to make over 700hp. And you import jackasses are all the same, brag about how small the engine is, but neglect to mention it has a big power adder. BTW, if you're making 700hp with lots of boost on a evo, theres no need to spin it to 10k rpm.Bottom line is this:Put 30+ lbs of boost on a LS1 and you'll make WAAAAY more than 700 RELIABLE HP with out having to rev the thing up to 10k RPM.

calientemauri, dont open your mouth about a car you know nothing about, you wouldnt know the 1st thing about the evo or its motor...ls1 reliability? you are a moron arent you? how many motors do you know of that are 122 cubic inches, can put out over 700 flywheel HP without a problem, run 10000 rpm, knock out 27 mpg on the highway, idle in traffic ALL DAY and still be reliable...just 1---->4G63T, dont EVER talk down on the 4g motor kid because you are in way over your head
