And the compression ratio is way lower, wich means less combustion in the heads and piston chambers. witch pretty much means less horses and way less torque from the motor to the back wheel. No contest against the r6 in a drag race. TRUST ME

Yes there is, I got one in me garage.. Oh wait, mines a Kawasaki... And I'm not British. Ha! Ride what you want to ride. They were comparing two different FULL-FAIRED sportbikes. One with track ergos, handling, & personality, and one with more of a road-going, more mellow manners. Post a clip comparing the two Yamaha and we'll watch it. The R6 is quite the looker, though.
