You realize U2 inspires Coldplay.As for Bono donating, that in itself is respectable and worth giving attention to. Each person is entitled to enjoy the fruits of their success. For them to be willing to share those benefits with someone else is truly commendable.

haha u can name two hits that are different. anyway im sick of this argument all i'm saying is yes bono gives alot to charity but he is capable of giving a lot more and until he does he should not receive all the fame he gets for his donations. newaycoldplay beat u2 anyday so get over it

before you make harsh comments at least know what you are talking about... bono is a us citizen, so at least 15% goes to taxes, then he donates more than any other singer/celebrity, look it up, and then actually listen to U2.... yes some of their songs sound similar instrumentally but Sunday Bloody Sunday, Mysterious Ways, listen to them... two different U2 hits, two different sounds. Lastly, actually listen to the lyrics, they are deep and most everyone can relate to them emotionally in someway

no one cares if U2 sound the same, they are unique from other bands, all their songs sound unique, and without U2 there would be no Coldplay so say whatever you want, U2 will always remain as one of the greatest everAnd nobody cares about whatever their name is, by the way, it is a great name.
