why are you people still talking about he died? He died of a mix of perscriptions. but he died peacefully in his sleep! We should talk about how cool he was and still is. it was almost a year ago. we know how he died but not many people know how he lived. thats what we should talk about

Yea..it was an overdose but it was accidental. And his meds were from more than one doctor. One was dental adn one was something for depression. I don't think his dentist prescribed depression meds.

Casey Calvert died due to the "acute combined effects of opiate, citalopram and clonazepam intoxication," according to the results of an autopsy performed by the office of the chief medical examiner in Washington, D.C. The autopsy listed Calvert's death as accidental. Dr. John Mendelson, a pharmacologist at the California Pacific Medical Center Research Institute, told MTV News that "Cases like Calvert's are so rare that they're almost nonexistent.

Whether he died of an overdose or not shouldn't have an impact on how you feel about Casey as a person; drug addicts can be just as human and respectable as anyone else. Casey was an apparent drug user, and look what an amazing life he lived. not all druggies are desperate, degenerates, and Casey is proof of that.

sorry guys, I love Hawthorne Heights and have mad respect for Casey, but Casey died of an overdose, plain and simple. No doctor could legally prescribe enough medication, even in combination, to cause you to go into respiratory failure, without facing a malpractice suit. Casey either took more meds than he was prescribed, or he was getting prescriptions from multiple doctors. |
