Ok, I live in Canada and own a 1994 volvo 940 wagon. It has airbags for both the driver and passenger. I'm a total volvo fan so I have also owned a 1990 740 and that came with airbags as well. Also have owned a 87 740 that came with airbags. My friend had a 1984 760 and that came with airbags as well. I have no idea what's up with that in Europe, u don't think we'd need em here, I mean our huge amounts of blubber would help us in a crah. haha, that's american's, We're not fat here. lol

common how can you test a 15 year old car with a like 2 year old car and say that you would rather be in the new car safety in cars has been updated a whole lot since the early 90's i own a volvo and would much rather be in one than a renault volvo has advanced its saftey much more now

Anyone else wonder why they used the RWD 940 instead of the transverse FWD 850? The Modus just gets channelled down the side of the engine ;-).
