I love this movie, I remember watching it in the 70's when I was a kid because my Mom loved Frankie Avalon.

One of the best: and with Dynasty's Linda Evans singin' and Lost In Space's Marta Kristen as a swimmin' mermaid -- how could you go wrong?! Great movie theme, too. In retrospect, there are some of the last great "teen movies" of the old-school film years.
