BUCKNER & GARCIA "PAC-MAN FEVER". Back in the day, the fastest one that could throw together a song about the latest fad would win the race. This single from a couple of nobodies vaulted straight into the Top 10 in 1981.-----------BRINGING 4GOTTEN TRAXXX BACK TO THE MASSES! We're posting audio versions of long-forgotten music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s for your listening pleasure. Cool! ^_^ I remember when I heard it for the VERY first time. While I was waiting for the bus home...I'm listening to my little transitor radio - with earplug in my ear right ear.MAN! That was one weird intro. I thought: "WOW! What's this??"The rest is history!

That song really takes me back. Can't beat the great old video games. They are classics. Great memories of playing it at the video arcade in the mall and on my friend's Atari 2600 at her house.

This is a decent song, musically, so I like the fact that it was calculated to cash in on a fad. Exploitation of trends is fun when it's done well! :-)

I strongly agree with dblbeats....kids now wouldnt survive back when we was young. I'll be 36 Sept 21, and I can remember the things we had back then. It just pisses my 7 year old neice off when I tell her that we didnt have DVD or CD players back then. I admit it I'm still back in the 80s..My car is a 86 and I still listen to the 80s channel on my Sirius.
