I'm not disputing it...he still gets laid now wihout the spandex and makeup. The point of what i'm saying is that you can't say it's "gay" because the dudes who pulled it off made it cool and got their action because they defined cool. It's what was popular then and yeah, like you say, it was a different era so we can't judge it by today's standards.

Gene Simmons also wore spandex and makeup. I don't care how much you get laid; lame is lame. He got most of that action in the 80's which, as many people will remember, weren't that good of a time for fashion. Those women slept with him because he was in Kiss, not because of the pants. It's the band. Pure and simple. I got more action when I was in my band than I do now.

Actually, the Vegas video is Spacelord.There is an alternate version of Heads Explode, which has a lot of topless dancers and the band playing on a giant cross. Oddly, though there's nude breasts everywhere, the lyrics are censored.

the leather pants thing...Gene Simmons wore leather pants and i guarandamntee you that he's slept with more women than any of you ANY of you who diss leather pants. hell...you wish you could wear leather pants and get away with it. For such a great song, that is a rubbish promo - so trite and cliched. I much prefer the other version that screened on RAGE here in Australia circa 2001, with the SIN CITY-style imagery - much sexier.Also, is it me, or does Dave Wyndorf look like the bastard love child of Trent Reznor and Bobby Gillespie in this video?
