Finally got it back *exactly* 14 days later - "Repaired".Switched it on, got to Windows, crashed after 30 seconds, got to POST, crashed, now boots with 2 short beeps (CMOS settings fault) and hangs.Guess what? I can't clear the CMOS! Jump the pins or leave the batt out for a few minutes. Still does it. Man I hate this board. Time to get the money back and find a non-P35 board. And no... I can't get to the BIOS.

Here you go... This is what mine does. Video is crappy but it's on a mobile...
McNugget6750 (July 11, 2008 at 8:53 am)
Yeah, I did exactly the same.... thats why the system is running stand alone, just with the pc-speaker attached to it ;)

Slightly annoying isn't it? ;) Mines going to be a two week turn around so I'm not best pleased. I might just buy a different MB while I wait. At first I thought it was the video card as it reaches silly temps (HD3870) but that's fine.Basically, I followed usualy procedure... Change the PSU, take all the "bits" out, one by one, change the memory, move the memory into other slots, remove it completely, pull hair out, swear lots, call for an RMA#.Sometimes things just fail. It's the law!

Yes, thats exactly what I'm talking about!I'm working with and building Computers for 15 years now, and I can tell that I allways work with extreme caution when building a new one.All these guys shouting "noob - do a bios update" are not getting the point: The system WAS NOT RUNNING AT ALL. So I' could not get to the bios by any chance! And the other thing: Its allready working fine because I got a replace board of the same revision which works fine! Thanks for your comment!ItsA good one! :)

Yep... Mine's started doing the same. E6850 processor and I put it together in my work place's "lab" which is about as anti-static as a civilian outfit can get! Worked fine since Nov 2007 and now it's died.Cannot even get to the BIOS to make any changes.I've remove everything but the CPU and tried a new, identical PSU and it still does this. Misco have said that they will send for it to be "repaired".Can't update the BIOS if we can't get to it.

I've built well over 100 computers using this motherboard, only one was faulty...which was fixed by updating the bios. Sounds to me that you fried it whilst unpacking and the like.

why would you film this?
