I really wanted to play this for the exam but I just couldn't get up to tempo... you don't seem to go as fast as the book marks (not that that's a bad thing... I think it sounds better slower personally)... did they not comment on that, then? I almost regret choosing the Suk, although that is also a lovely piece.well played although you are a bit loud and could do with a bit more dynamic range

i reckon the metronome marking is wrong in the ABRSM because i play this at actual prelude speed and it sounds 10x better and more like an actual prelude

this song is so hard... but it songs so goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood. u play really good! are you in grade six in piano??? How do you manage to learn all these songs??? it's so haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard.

Heller was very much a Romantic period musician, I think. I've seen another one of his preludes in a different grade (4, I seem to remember). That was in C Major though. |
