I love the environment, but lets face it without money we wouldn't have a computer to view such a clip. Money is gained from development and related jobs. If we stopped development totally, our quality of living would fall. Progress saves life's, our average life expectancy has increase significantly in the last 200 years. It's important to belong to something, I feel some people are environmentalists as it gives them as sense of belonging. Protect the environment, but also be realistic.

Great video.. the song fits perfectly. :) The proposed pulp mill should definitely be scrapped- why risk our beautiful forests and seas?

Perhaps Lennon is Gunning for a job after the inevitable backlash at the next election?

I've got to be honest with you--I hate Gunns Ltd. and Lennon. And I'm labor person and a trade unionist.

I love this video! I feel heartened and saddened at the same time. Heartened that there are so many of us living in Tasmania who still relaise what life is really all about, and saddened that we are lead by the corrupt, belligerent, and ruthless politians. Gloria Andrews, an aboriginal elder put it best. "We don't own this land and it doesn't own us. We are simply it's caretakers." |
