When we say "No playback" in reference to D'espairsRay, we should at least make clear the fact that they do indeed use prerecorded material. Harmonies and vocals that overlap, synthesizers, and extra guitars are all on a backing track, which is all standard procedure for most bands. However, Hizumi's main vocal is completely real. He used pitch correction on the Liquidize DVD, but uses far less of it on this DVD, and he still sounds pretty darn good.

Trust me, its not, D'espairs ray never playback, they are just THAT amazing live that it sounds like its playback
