Porsche also stole from the earlier rear-engined aerodynamic designs of the Ledwinkas in nearby Czechoslovakia. They conceived and built big luxury Tatras with those features in the 1930s and later the smaller VW sized Tatra-97. All of them predated the final VW design and all of them were produiced and sold to the public before WWII.

It's amazing how Dutch is spoken in both "British" and "American" accents. Must be that the speaker was primarily British, but the Schiperoord guy must have been Dutch primarily, or Dutch speakers do have regional accents just like English speakers do. |
