This was an excerpt of the longer interview by Tamori (foremost comedian in Japan), which was conducted in 1985. This is a famous comedy TV program (Konya wa Saikou). Miles knew that this was a comedy show. According to Tamori who is a huge fan of Miles from the 60s, Miles was very impressed that he was very knowledgeable about all his work, and after the interview, Miles gave him an autograph on Tamori's trumpet (he plays a little too).
