I live in Seattle Washington, rains 10 months out of the year, creates same problem, beautiful, but annoying while on the bike.

With the brake on the left, there is a danger that under sharp braking conditions, the wheel may get forced out of the fork drop-outs because of the rotational direction of the wheel. With the brake on the right, the same rotational direction will keep the wheel in the drop-out.That's the theory!

Why was the disk put on the right side? It is a straight blade fork so it doesn't matter from rake, but?
