Forgot to mention that i was 33, and 10 stone when diagnosed with Avas Nec. This, no doubt is why i am going through such a speedy recovery.Prednisolone contributed to saving my life so im not that pissed off that it caused me to get a new hip.

I was diagnosed with NHL back in 2000 and as well as chemo and all the other medication i was on i of course had to take steroids to build up my immune system. Prednisolone was the steroids i was taking. Unfortunately two years on (2002) this caused me to contract Avascular Necrosis of the Femoral Head. Anyway, I had a Total Hip Replacemant on Monday 18th June 2007 and was out on Thursday 21st June 2007. I felt fine and even went for a pint on Thursday night, no shit.

just had this procedure done. Ended years of pain in hip. I have been doing Martial arts for 40 years and suffered with hip pain over the last 5 years. Pain is gone and I am on the way back to the dojo for more productive years. Thank You Dr. Evans from San Antonio, Texas who performed the technique. |
