Morpheus depicts the "cave myth".The matrix, as a movie has brought into present day, a much much older myth/tale that existed in ancient Platos' ages. it was the tale of plato and the cave. In this tale, people were trapped into a reality where they were imprisoned inside a cave, and thus were unable to see the outside world. The people being imprisoned, could not see the light, because they were trapped inside a cave. So, whoever created this video is trying to get you to see the connection
