I don't know about 'true', but he did live his last years with a man who obviously cared a lot about him, who was there with him during the hardest stages of the disease and when he passed away. They apparently even exchanged rings.So I'd like to think he did find true love.

Recently, the premiere music mag in England (thier version of Rolling Stone) named this the single greatest live performance of all time, especially given the circumstances, Queen's lackluster run in the early 80's. It was totally unexpected and just blew everyone out of the water.
