Its true theoretically that the 86 and the FD is more overall balanced and is one of the keys to dominate. However, as far as I know there isnt many tuners that can even properly tune Supras at all. So chances are we have yet to see the true potential of the Supra because even Orido, havent bothered to tune that car to its limits. So I just hope to see someone bring out the potential of these machines so others would stop viewing it at its current point of view compared to the gtr, and so on.

the supra is a good car stock. but if you have actually seen all of best motoring, and not just one ore two videos/races, you'll see that a modified ae86 beats a stock supra and gtr on the track. and that the modified rx7 (by feed/r.e.a.) beats ALL the top supra's and gtr's. i've also seen rotary power drag cars do 6s quarters. so dragging is all pretty close between them. however, if driven by a good driver, the lighter rx7 and 86 will always be quicker on the back-roads (if they're not stock).

That's why the Supra is my favorite car. I love how the video shows how the Supra and Skyline were rivals in those days. Just after a lap they are off the gang battling for first place. But Supra was better, better cornering and more torque (2JZ-GTE). Even if it's big it really does well on the track even bone stock.

u do know that nissan skyline gt-r productions started before ae86 right?so if you say all the old cars have a "soul" which doesn make any sense,skyline would have more soul than ae86

The jza80 supra is very underestimated. It is just merely occupied by majority of those whose greedy for power because of its 2jz. Lets hope best motoring releases more vid of it performing such as the touges

thats a good punch in the face to hall theses fuckers that say that the supra handle like a big boat and a piece of crap!!hahaa!Supra FTW!!!Fast in the corners & the straight!Perhaps..maybe a Na2 nsx, with the 3.2 liter 6 speed would have done much beter around the track..the na1 5 speed is underpowered, no low end torque!Great vids!thanks for sharing!

i agree with hanlee but what the streets in japan look up too now a days that are running the streets is the silvia,hondas from anything with the "Type R" emblem and some mazdas what mostly runs the street are DC2's

ur fucken stupid stop watching Initial D so much, its a cartoon and its fake, the GTR and Supra have probably more "soul" than anything on that track including Ur AE86 which is a Sprinter Corolla, and u dont even know what a miata is, just dont talk anymore about any car vid on youtube
