very nice fish, i live in wisconsin and i love the fact that im never far from the woods and its very easy to travel to spooner and go fishing or northern wisconsin and go hunting its a very nice state.

The river is pretty much divided between a cold water trout fishery above Hayward, then warmwater below. Not to say there are no browns in the lower sections, but it's more smallmouth habitat.
