yeah, my 89 has over 200 k and still runs great. how much u think i could get for it? im thinking about 2500, as it is in mint condition. it is stock though

it's fine. cherokee's have the 4.0 strait 6, witch was a great engine, and if taken good care of should last 300,000 easily. if u can get a good deal on one with 150,000 i would do it in a heart beat. my 89 has 208,000 and still runs great.

i spent $350 on a 1988 jeep cherokke with only 195,000 miles and it ran great when i bought it. it also came with a 3" lift and aftermarket lower control arms, so i'd say it was a good deal.

don't worry about miles the 289 is one of the best motors around. They don't break down and hold compression very well.

How many miles does your jeep have on it im looking at buying a jeep to build just for an offroad vehicle and im hesitant because allot of the cheap cherokees are 150,000 to 200,000 miles. |
