I remember punk coming along,and it didnt only produce great music itself,it forced the established old bands to up thier game,or thats the way we saw it-this is a very fine record indeed.Welsh fairy queens eh...very 70s.

My mom almost named me Rhiannon because of this song too.It's definitely one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs. I prefer the version they have on their album the dance though. The way she sings it in that version fits the mood of the lyrics better imo.

No, Stevie Nicks just loves the name and myth of Rhiannon, a Welsh Fairy Queen and Earth goddess. I should know, I have Rhiannon's name and her descriptions fit me. Fleetwood Mac is just another group with a lovely voice and great instrument talents, sending a tribute to the Celtic legend that is Rhiannon.
