i was at the maceo parker show at the fillmore too and i will second discohank, they were awsome, like nothing ive ever heard and i loved it.

They did a set at the BellyUp Tavern in Solana Beach a few weeks ago, and were likewise marvelous. Wonderful grooves...cool mixed meter stuff, and excellent improvisation. Waiting for more...I've got their album, but wish I had a sound board tape from their gig...do they make em? They'd sell easy. Keep doin...

These cats are so bad and funky, they opened up for Maceo Parker last night at the Filmore, and I was blown away!
