I think I prefer this adaptation of Emma better. Mr Knightly is more what is to be imagined in this one versus the older one. I like Kate Beckinsale better for Emma, though. OH if only the two were combined!!

good movie!but i encourage everyone to watch the british version with kate beckinsale and mark strong... i just absolutely love it... it's a little less silly and more sincere and genuine to the novel i think...

One of my favourite Austen screen adaptations! Gwyneth Paltrow did a wonderful job as Emma and so did the other actors in their roles!

good grief. use your common sense. Sense and Sensibility = original novel published in the 1800's. Cluless = movie that came out in 1995. |
