yes, Radiohead, most of all! Lets check out "creep", quiet-loud-quiet-loud formula, where did they got that from? hummm

Another funny thing is The Melvins and Nirvana toured together, in one old video you can see them saying exactly the same thing: the guy in the left says I'm influenced by Nirvana, then the guy in the right says, "by inspired they mean good music", then the two say "Nirvana, bad"

AIC and Soundgarden were more kind of metal bands with grunge pedals. Their music was heavy metal, the band that started the punk and grunge typical sound was Nirvana. You may say it is plain music, but thats were it really started. I'm not saying these bands copied them, just saying it was a great influence for a lot of people

you're right, alice in chains not that much but you can see they moved from the heavy metal to stuff like "heaven beside you", that reminds me to some band. Pearl jam? Eddie Vedder loved Nirvana

How were Chili Pepers, Pearl Jam, AIC, The Presidents of the USA, and most of all RADIOHEAD at all influenced by Nirvana?I'm sorry, but Nirvana weren't nearly as great as everyone thinks they were, they were okay at best. They didn't do anything good for music, and don't say they got rid of Hair Metal, because there were plenty of other bands that did aswell. Also they didn't make grunge popular, AIC and Soundgarden were already fairly popular before Nirvana got big.

Imperialistic power? More like third world country. And as an Irish citizen, may I be the first to say, "HA!".

i grew up in the grunge days i still remember when nevermind changed the whole hair metal glam thing thats been going on... and i also remember kurt cobain talking highly of the melvins... they are his gods

of course most of these bands you mention don't suck but not all of these bands take influence from Nirvana. Instead they take it from other bands.
