not many people in the US actually thought that's really how kazakhstan is. and to my understanding, he didn't even really film in kazakhstan. BUT lighten up, every country gets lampooned in some movie. not just American movies, but lots of other countries have movies where they lampoon countries. for instance, in flushed away, the American rat was a loud, country Texan with a gigantic cowboy hat. And that's certainly not how all Americans act, but it was parody, and it was funny.
