We had one of these about a week ago, but strangely no EAS warning. I always thought the weather channel should make the tornado tickers more prominent than the severe thunderstorm ones.

there has been hail up to 7 inches. and softball is only 4.50"! go to western nebraska if you want giant hailstorms, and more frequently. nebraska holds the world record hailstone of 7 inches in diameter.

I think I actually remember this happening, last year. I was watching Hell's Kitchen, and the sky was, and I'm not kidding when I say this, BLOOD RED. That's way scarier than the green hue from a possible tornado.

CriminalCola, im in NW oregon and i just got through a bunch of severe thunderstorm warnings myself, they weren't for my area, but they were all over the place! some storms produced golfball sized hail and winds in excess of 70 mph.from may 24 to july 3, it has been unusual, since this is in oregon of course! lolcheck out my video on my profile, it is one of the warnings on weatherscan
