Now I realize what i must look like to other people esp. men. But the reason I dont make eye contact is mostly because of self-esteem issues. I guess I feel that if I looked at a guy I was attracted to in a confident/friendly way,he might think "why is that Fugly girl looking at me, I hope she doesn't like me." I know i need to change, but I do have a history of men AND women demeaning me.

If you truly communicate that it will take more effort to initially meet you, it can only mean more effort to maintain a relationship. Pick your millionaire hero. If he could choose between you on the catwalk or an open, smiling, engaging woman of equal physical beauty, who do you think he's going to approach? Millionaires would be especially more likely to feel a woman needs to prove her worthiness to him, rather than the other way around.

I understand what he is saying and agree on some level, but frankly, I think what kind of a wuss are you if you think, "she's too good for me?" If I want to walk like I'm on the cat walk, or dress fancy for no occasion, wth is wrong with that? I guess I better find millionaires to start dating, b/c they just might appreciate a gal like me! lol

LOOKS! the better the looks, the less likely the girl is gonna respond positively to men who's interested. this is a proven fact, i've noticed it several times already.

tell u what, almost every club i go to, all the women look exactly how u've described them, they look very arrogant, unfriendly, and these women who think theyre too beautiful - simply ARE NOT! i put personality over looks anyday.
