ppl influence each other throughout history no one "wants to be" something, theyre just getting inspired and creating new styles through different influences and different cultures...ur just a hater...or a racist

people need to get their story straight. its either they wanted to be like white girls, or like hip hop artists who are basically all black.

this style did NOT start from ppl wanting to look like a typical "sunkissed WHITE girl in california" but i know that the styles in hiphop and r&b music did have an early influence...

it doesn't really matter, what i was trying to get acrossed was that these trends started because many girls wanted to look like the sun-kissed WHITE girls of california.

i never said all asians looked the same so i hope your not saying that for me. yeah i forgot about okinawa, i believe actually a pop star is one reason this trend started.

japanese ppl are diverse...north japanese ppl have light skin, but as u go down south like in Okinawa and to the other southern islands, Japanese ppl are dark. ppl like to generalise about asians being all the same looking but its BS...

well usually people refer to fake tans as the stuff thats in the bottle..i think in asia most ppl either go to tan by going to the beach or tanning booths...and some asians are naturally really dark or brown as well.iv never really heard of fake tans (stuff in bottle) being used in asia before...maybe they do...but its not that huge over there

and tanning in a tanning booth isn't a natural way of getting darker? How isn't that a fake tan? You're not naturally that way.

they have tanning salons in japan. why wouldn't they have the fake tan bottles in japan either? lol
