yeah. definately! but music is used by some people say miles davis or bob dylan as a means of showing their politcal standing or state of mind when writing the music. whereas i think liquid tension experiment are a group who just jam for the love of making a fucking big and exciting noise. This was my objection to "dipstick" saying this music is deeper than what we think it is.

Really some of the greatest, most interesting, progressive metal there is. If anybody likes LTE, they should definitely check out the band Freakeys. In my opinion, they're not quite as good as LTE, but still very cool.Oh and P4P, shut up, you have no clue what you're talking about.

there's more to it than just 'interesting and fast noise'. if you're able to, you can interpret it in a way that tells a story or shares an emotion. these guys are actually geniuses because they worked all of that 'fast noise' out and made everything fit together perfectly. it has so many complex parts with different rythms that all work together and actually sound nice. That's alot harder than anything most of us can do and that's why theyre doing this for a living and we aren't.

theres not much in the way of interlect and depth to this group, they just make a very interesting and fast noise.Joe zawinals music is something towards a type of music which holds some depth.
