I think the sally on the tenor at Exeter is bigger... I have pics of someone ringing it and it seems to be 5 foot plus

I had the pleasure of ringing some St Martins on the back 6 there one Sunday morning, I can honestly say it was the first time I've had to hold a 24 cwt bell (I was on the second) on the balance when ringing it to changes. Great fun though.

Maybe a weird question here, but there's nothing wrong with being curious. Does the tenor here have the biggest sally in the world?

Nope, He's English.... although he has done ahuge amount for Bellringing in Southern Ireland, installing the bells at Skibbereen, and rehanging the bells at Rosscarbery as well as living there for 6 months to train a band of ringers. More recently he has led the team that rehung and augmented the bells at St Finbarres, Cork
