only if you get the sport exhaust option... There's a "sport" button in the cabin if you buy the sport chrono pack.

Hmm.. Remember! The Porsche 997 & 987 all have that option. Pretty much what it is, is a button in the cabin. :-D

are you kidding? how can you compare a $2500 exhaust with a $16,000 performance package engine upgrade? the x-51 package accounts for about 2% of 911 sales for a reason. IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

Excellent car. i have a basic idea about cars and engines, but im only 17 years old so i guess i have time! my old man has the 996 carrera 4 cabrio so im already a big fan of porsches. i think he is looking to upgrade and get the 997 c4s and it sounds fantastic with the sports exhaust. thanks alot for posting!

whats with that dog in the back ground? and you should have got the X51 package instead of a sports exhaust system.. you get a nice high pitch whail from that package plus gives you 30 odd horses more..

I am ccnsidering to buy Cayman. The drawback I have is that I do not like sound of Porsche engines. I used to have Alfa Romeo V6 with ANSA muffler. I used to take my Alfa to closed parking just to hear its exhaust sound. I think Porsche does not sound bad with the sports exhaust system.(I may order Cayman.)
