gotta do more with less now, i suppose. keeps the fuel costs down. and to the person who asked why we build the stuff so big, europe and africa and most places, don't have 2 mountain ranges to cross, and ya'll don't run 2- 2 1/2 mile long trains either, i've been to europe, them trains where shorter than hell.

134 cars I believe and regarding the 12-15 SD40-2s, that sort of thing just isn't economically viable these days. Modern railroading is all about Unit reductionm fuel reduction and of course emissions reduction. Come on chap, keep up.
