As in fanatically religious people are retarded? This may be true but intelligence is not entirely genetic, a good portion of one's mental capacity is developed and fine-tuned through years of education and study habits.

I've heard that people are more likely to become chrsitian later in life if they were sexually abused as chilren. Not to mention they probably get those recessive christian genes from previous imbreding
