Don't think of this as teaching kids to be sexist think about it teaching a little girl to be responsoble,and help around the house,but i have been wrong befor so ...........

OMG - i agree with the comment, "people get overyourselves" do you realize how many kitchens and cleaning sets are in the role play toy market?? LOADS and it's not one commercial that makes this play sexist. the reason these things sell is b'c kids LIKE these things innately, not b'c mom OR dad is cleaning but b'c it's about exploration.the things that effect kids, abuse, neglect, not a cheezy commercial...and clearly? they like this product, check out the other videos!

I used to love this kinda stuff when I was younger and I'm just about graduate from UCLA and start law school. I don't think I was adversely affected by my gendered toys. Girls are led astray by bad parenting, not hokey commercials. My mom (an attorney) just bought this set for my niece for Christmas. She's very bright but also loves her cottage. Its her own private little space to get away from everyone in the "outside world." C'mon people get over yourselves.

I love when my laundry is clean too. And I'm not a woman. HOLY SHIT! Making men and women equal starts in the home. Share in the responsibility assholes. I am disgusted to see little girls being taught this is all they can aspire too.
