I'm using 3.90 M33-3. If you're already on custom firmware, there's no reason not to upgrade to this.

I have my PSP downgraded, do I have to upgrade it to be able to use remote joy or can it sitll be downgraded? =/

Remotejoy to get the video onto the computer, and Camtasia Studio to record it.If you want, for comparison, I'm using a 2.26GHz P4 with 1GB of RAM.Turn OFF hardware acceleration, use screen resolution of 800x600 and 16-bit color depth.

Upper Rank Volcano. Pretty much the only place you can mine Firecell Stones but you don't need many.

If you plan on soloing, Felyne Gunpowder and Bomber skills are almost essential, because the white Fatalis will go into a hardened state, and during this period of time, explosives are the only practical way of dealing the required damage. I would recommend using ~20 large bombs (Alchemy/Combo Book G required).You will have a much easier time using a ranged weapon. Such as a Dragon-element bow, or a bowgun with a full load of L1, L2, and L3 Cluster shots.
